Mullein Flower Extract Illuminating
This is the first natural active ingredient (derived from mullein) for cosmetics based on luminescence. Its phytocomplex is able to protect the skin from harmful high-energy UV radiation, transforming it into a source of light that radiates directly from the skin, making it shinier, younger and healthier.
Hexapeptide 19 Lift Effect
These are actives of modern biochemical conception, small in size, made up of amino acid sequences similar to those of the active part of a natural protein with a specific action to ‘mimic’; in fact, they ‘mimic’ the action of a natural protein they resemble, by binding in a highly specific way to cell receptors that regulate particular biological processes. Hexapeptide-19 is a latest-generation cosmetic active that reduces the aesthetic visibility of expression lines. It has a botox-like micro-decontracting efficacy that smoothes out small expression lines because it acts at the level of muscle contraction. It mimics botulinum toxin in a safe and reversible manner.
Rosemary Water
Rosemary water or rosemary hydrolate is a product obtained by steam distillation of rosemary branches. Rosemary hydrolate is a natural remedy against skin impurities and dandruff but is also useful in cases of water retention. Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis L.) is an evergreen perennial shrub belonging to the Lamiaceae family. Rosemary aromatic water is used for skin and hair beauty, especially to combat excess sebum, acne and dandruff. It is therefore an extract that contains a small amount of essential oil in dispersion and water-soluble aromatic compounds in solution. Its cosmetic use is due to its astringent and purifying properties. Rosemary hydrolate is therefore particularly suitable for combination skin and acne-prone skin, but also for scalp problems, including dandruff and seborrhoeic dermatitis.
Organic Chamomile Extract
Common Chamomile Extract is obtained from the flower heads of Chamomilla Recutita, a plant belonging to the Asteraceae family. It is composed mainly of flavonoids such as apigenin, luteolin, quercetin, rutin and their glycosides, which are responsible for the extract’s pronounced anti-reddening, soothing and decongestant properties. Chamomilla Recutita extract stimulates microcirculation functionality and fibroblast activity with promotion of collagen, elastic fibre and hyaluronic acid synthesis, thus promoting epidermis and dermis repair. Chamomilla recutita extract is used in the preparation of a wide variety of cosmetic products for the treatment of sensitive, cuperose, delicate skin, e.g. in after-sun products, after-shave products, soothing creams and pastes. The extract is also used in cleansing and scalp care products for its ability to give blond and light brown hair shine and golden highlights. It has no particular contraindications at normal concentrations of use, except for those related to variations in the organoleptic characteristics of the finished product.
